Four steps from a thing you no longer need to a thing you do. Every one of them happens in the app until the two of you meet.
List an item
Post something you Have or describe what you Want. A small flat fee applies per published listing.
Find a match
Browse and filter by category, condition, and distance to find a trade nearby.
Propose a trade
Offer a single item or a bundle. Messaging opens once a proposal is accepted.
Confirm & rate
Both traders confirm the swap is complete, then leave a rating. No fee on completion.

How does Garage Trade work?
You post items you have and items you want. Browse listings from people nearby, propose a swap for a single item or a bundle, agree the details in the app, then meet locally to exchange and confirm the trade.
Does it cost anything to swap?
There is no commission on a trade. A flat fee is charged once per listing, at the moment you publish it.
Can I swap items by mail?
Garage Trade is built for local, in-person swaps. You agree a meeting place with the other trader and confirm the trade afterwards.
Do I need an account to see listings?
Yes. Listings are visible to members, which keeps items and the people trading them out of public search results. Creating an account is free.
How do I know the other trader is reliable?
Every completed trade leaves a public rating on both profiles, and traders who fail to show up can be flagged as untrusted.
